Rachelle, creator of the comic book blog Living Between Wednesdays, and Dave, manager of the Strange Adventures comic shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia, share their love of all things comic book and super hero related.

Part two of our Halloween SPOOKTACULAR! This week we discuss creepy comics, freaky films, and awesome costumes. Rachelle presents a list of "scary" stuff that she actually likes, and Dave explains why he's fallen out of love with zombies.

Also in this episode: the Star Wars trailer! Back to the Future Day! Jeb Bush creeping on Supergirl! Anthony Mackie endorsing Donald Trump! Bryan Cranston was in Halifax! The movie Chris Evans directed is not very good! And a very special, extra long edition of The Renner Report because, man, that guy...

Good evening! [lightning crash] Welcome to this week's episode of DYING Between Wednesdays! It's almost Halloween so Dave and Rachelle are talking about spooky stuff for the next two episodes. Dave talks about the 31 horror movies that he is watching this month, and explains his long-standing love of horror and monsters. Rachelle explains her long-standing hatred of horror and monsters.

Also on this episode: Darwyn Cooke's new DC art book, a possible Y: The Last Man television series, The Twilight Children #1, a new Avatar comic (?!), and we can't help but make fun of yet another issue of Captain America: White. Also, Rachelle's 5-yr-old son, Mitchell, is back to play a round of the super hero guessing game.

This week Dave and Rachelle talk about their collecting habits when it comes to comics. Before that they have to get through a mountain of comic-related news and announcements, thanks to New York Comic Con, and a whole lot of new comics that were released this week.

Also in this episode: excitement for the new Coen brothers movie, Rachelle finds out she owns a comic that is actually worth real money, Rachelle gives her thoughts on the season openers of The Flash and Arrow, and one of the hosts watched Magic Mike XXL (hint: it's not who you think!).

Tiina Johns joins Dave and Rachelle this week to talk about Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is going to be a hate-free zone, guys, because we all love this movie. A lot.

Also covered this episode: the latest insane installment of Captain America: White, Tiina brings up Jeremy Renner's appearance on Angel, Rachelle disapproves of Sebastian Stan having brunch with Jesse Eisenburg, and Dave embarks on yet another October of watching 31 scary movies. We're also very excited about that Mark Waid/Chris Samnee Black Widow series announcement. And...is Zack Snyder a super villain?

Bonus content as always on the blog!
