The comic book world was stunned last week to learn that DC had restructured their Vertigo imprint and let CEO Shelly Bond go. In this episode, Dave and Rachelle discuss the legacy of both Vertigo and Bond, and whether or not the imprint still has a place in comics.

Also in this episode: Rachelle and Dave mourn the sudden death of Prince, and talk about the announcement of Robert Downey Jr joining the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. And Dave is raving about the Mark Millar/Rafael Albuquerque series Huck! Plus, Rachelle has all of the latest Winter Soldier news in the weekly This Week in Winter Soldier segment.

Dave and Rachelle are THRILLED to be joined this week by superstar comic book artist, Steve McNiven! Steve was the artist on Marvel's Civil War series, as well as Wolverine: Old Man Logan, Amazing Spider-Man 'Brand New Day,' Nemesis, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Uncanny Inhumans and more! He also just got back from the world premier of Captain America: Civil War in Los Angeles, and he talks about that experience, as well as his visit to the set in Atlanta last year. He shares some spoiler-free thoughts about the movie.

Before that, Rachelle and Dave talk about all the latest news and gossip, including the Dr. Strange teaser trailer, the announcement of the Spider-Man movie title (and some casting rumours), Dave shares his thoughts on Moon Knight #1, and Rachelle is being buried alive in Civil War/Winter Soldier/Sebastian Stan content. It's not the worst way to go.

They just couldn't put it off any longer: Dave and Rachelle bite the bullet and watch the second (and thankfully final) 1979 Captain America television movie, Death Too Soon. It's...not good.

Also in this episode: Civil War mania has begun! Plus, all the announcements from Image Expo, some exciting new series that started up this week like Black Panther, and The Fix, and Rachelle probably talks way too much about the new promotional Pop Secret popcorn Marvel comics.

In times of illness we can always turn to comic books for comfort. Or Captain America: The First Avenger. But certainly comics.

Rachelle is very sick this week so she and Dave record this week's episode via Skype. They share their go-to "sick day" comics; the comics that sooth their souls like so much chicken soup when they are under the weather.

Before that, they discuss the photos from the set, of Dr. Strange, the delightful Supergirl/Flash crossover episode, the return of young Steve Rogers in comics, and, in "This Week in Winter Soldier," this glorious age we live in that fans are calling "Sebpocalypse."
