Holy smokes, you guys. Rachelle and Dave saw Endgame (in Dave's case, twice) and they loved it and have lots to say about it.

This episode is full of spoilers, so don't listen if you haven't seen Endgame yet. But since the movie made over a billion dollars in the first weekend, most of you probably have.

This will be the last episode for awhile as Rachelle and Dave both work on their own creative projects. The next episode will probably be when Spider-Man: Far From Home opens.

DC's latest superhero movie, Shazam!, hit theatres this week. Dave watched all of it, Rachelle had to leave about half an hour into it because her son was terrified. To make up for it, Rachelle and Dave watched the 1980 camp extravaganza, Flash Gordon. It was fun.

Last week Rachelle and Dave talked about some of the game changing ideas that comic book writers brought to the table. This week they are talking about the opposite of that: big ideas that did basically nothing.

Also in this episode: a new (boring) comic book imprint is launched by Axel Alonso, Bill Jemas and some other dudes; very positive early reviews for SHAZAM, and Rachelle's new book is out!

This week Rachelle and Dave are talking about the game changing ideas that impacted and reshaped the DC and Marvel universes. Ideas like the multiverse and the Rainbow Lanterns. Stuff like that.

Dave and Rachelle saw Captain Marvel, and they have thoughts about it!

Rachelle and Dave are getting really sick of winter in Nova Scotia, so they are talking about some of their favourite comic book fictional locations this week.

Rachelle is away this week but Dave more than makes up for it with an interview with Michel Fiffe! They discuss Copra, Zegas, Bloodstrike, and his new miniseries, G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte!

Dave and Rachelle gave into peer pressure this week and watched Venom, which is an actual movie that came out last year. And you know what? It was not bad. Warning: this episode is full of Venom spoilers.

This week Rachelle and Dave are joined by the co-creators of Grandway Comics, a brand new line of classic superhero adventure comics, printed on newsprint in glorious full colour! The very talented Halifax-based team of Jeff Knott and Derek Jessome share the art and writing duties on all three of their current titles, and they talk about what inspired them to self-publish their own line of print comics.

It's 2019 and Rachelle and Dave are keeping it positive! This week they run down some comic books, and related movies and tv series, that they are looking forward to this year. They also finally get around to addressing the fact that Stan Lee is no longer with us.

Happy New Year! Rachelle and Dave come back after a couple of months off to talk about the Aquaman and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movies, which are both in theatres now. Crazy!

This episode kicks off a new "season" of the Living Between Wednesdays podcast, which will continue until the release of Avengers: Endgame. Then they will break again for a bit and come back with a bunch of exciting new episodes. Enjoy!
