This week, Rachelle and Dave take a look at what some of the comic book publishers are up to who aren't Marvel or DC. Dave gives an informative overview of the strengths of each publisher, and what they've been putting out lately.

Also in this episode: a new installment of The Renner Report; Dave talks about the latest round of horror movies that he's watched this October; thoughts on the latest episode of Riverdale; and, as always, the highlights of this week's new comics and comic-related news.

This week Dave and Rachelle are sharing some comic book cover clichés that they are pretty tired of. And also some that they will never get tired of. 

Also in this episode: Dave runs through the first half of his 31 horror movies that he's been watching this October; thoughts on the season two premier of Riverdale; the new Black Panther trailer; some vaguely relevant thoughts on Harvey Weinstein (because Rachelle can't think of anything else); and reviews of some of this week's comics, including Amazing Spider-Man #789, Uncanny Avengers #28, Mister Miracle #3, and Falcon #1.

Rachelle and Dave both saw and loved Blade Runner 2049 and they share their thoughts on it (with spoilers! Be warned!). Also in this episode: all (or a bunch of) the news from NYCC, new trailers for Justice League, Pacific Rim and Runaways and the first issue of Slots (Image) by Dan Panosian.

Also, Rachelle would like to apologize for the sound quality of this episode. It all sounded great in the headphones during recording, but it turns out the actual recording was being done by the laptop microphone, not the hand-held mics/mixing board. She did her best trying to fix up the audio in editing. Dave, you will notice, was sitting further away from the laptop.

This week Dave and Rachelle are joined by Dave's former Strange Adventures co-worker, Denzel Noylander, to talk about good (and bad) practices by comic shops and comic shop customers.
