Black Panther came out this past week and it was SO. GOOD.
Rachelle and Dave have lots of thoughts. Dave also sits down with Leslie Amegavie, a die-hard Black Panther fan who emigrated to Nova Scotia from Ghana. Leslie saw the movie four times during opening weekend, so he's pretty pumped about it.
Also in this episode: another installment of This Week in Winter Soldier (for obvious reasons), and some very brief thoughts on this week's comics and comic book news.
Wakanda Forever!
Happy Valentine's Day! And Happy Black Panther Eve!
Rachelle and Dave loosely talk about some of their favourite romantic moments in comics, and suggest some possible superhero romantic pairings.
They are once again joined by Hillary to talk about the final episode of The X-Files before that show goes on hiatus. Also in this episode: lots of trailers and casting rumours that aren't of interest to anyone who hosts this podcast; Rachelle loses her mind over The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang; and some thoughts on the Marvel Studios 10 Year Anniversary class photo.
This week Rachelle and Dave are considering the positive impact super heroes have had on who they are today. And also, why so many people who claim to love super heroes are total racist monsters.
They are joined again by Hillary to talk about the latest episode of The X-Files. Also in this episode: lots of new trailers (which sparks a heated discussion); new imprints at DC; and a very special installment of This Week in Winter Soldier.
