Dave and Rachelle's weekly look at the Wolverine films of Hugh Jackman, the series that SHOULD have been called 'Logan's Run' this whole time, comes to a close this week with 2013's THE WOLVERINE. It's maybe the best movie with Wolverine in it? But that isn't saying much.
Also discussed in this episode: all the news from ComicsPRO, episode four of RIVERDALE, a bunch of Captain America-related comics, more Batman movie woes, and if Mel Gibson directs the next Suicide Squad movie, Rachelle is DONE with Warner Bros and DC.
Even a giant snowstorm can't stop Dave and Rachelle from recording an episode (over the phone). It did stop them from watching a Wolverine movie this week though. Instead, they (eventually) talk about The Lego Batman Movie, which they both saw at an advance screening.
Also in this episode: Secret Empire, Avengers: Infinity War, Riverdale episode 3, Chris Evans Twitter fights with David Duke, and kind of a long tangent about Blade Runner.
Rachelle and Dave arguably hit X-Men movie rock bottom this week (and that is a VERY deep hole) by revisiting X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. It's a movie that is best forgotten.
Also discussed in this episode: Riverdale, He-Man on Netflix, evil/Chris Evans wins the Super Bowl, The Batman loses its director, yet another Sebastian Stan fandom meltdown, and actual comic books.
Neither Dave nor Rachelle had seen X-Men: The Last Stand since seeing it in the theatres in 2006. It wasn't good then, and it isn't good now.
Also in this episode: the first episode of the CW's Riverdale, more delays for the Flash movie, Winter Solider gets a new arm, and new developments in the HydraCap storyline.
